Diane P. Bloom

               Diane P. Bloom, 72, of Lake Orion, passed away suddenly Tuesday evening October 10, 2023, at her summer farmhouse in Posen.

            The daughter of the late Louis and Gertrude (Wisniewski) was born in Rogers City on March 26, 1951.  Diane was a 1969 graduate of Posen High School.   She was united in marriage to Doug Bloom on December 9, 1972.

            Diane began her nursing career at Alpena General Hospital and later retired from Woodward Hills Nursing Home in Lake Orion.  She loved cooking, spending time at the farmhouse, and spending as much time as she could with her grandkids. 

            She is survived by her husband Doug; two daughters Dawn (Paul) Cobble, and Jennifer Bloom; two sisters Monica (David) Ford, and Evelyn (David) Glomski; and five grandchildren Samantha, Gabriella, Brooke, Anne, and Andrew.

            Visitation will be Saturday, October 14, 2023, at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Posen from 11:00 AM until the noon Funeral Mass with Father Patrick Maher Officiating.  Burial will be immediately following at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery.

            Memorials are suggested to charity of friend’s choice.
