Earldean Stamper, 94 of Rogers Township passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Medilodge of Rogers City.
The daughter of Clarence and Adelia (Bunker) Blair was born in Rogers City on December 17, 1928. After high school she moved to Detroit where she found a job at Bower Roller Bearing. This is where she met Gerald Stamper they were married on March 7, 1953, together they celebrated 62 years of marriage. After retiring they spent 15 years in the Trout Lake area, before moving back to Rogers City. Her final years were spent at Rogers City Medilodge where she enjoyed many laughs and memories with the staff. Dean always enjoyed the company, and treasured her small family. She enjoyed the casino and playing cards.
Surviving is a brother Thomas Blair; 2 special nieces Clara Budnik, and Judith (Alan) Meyer; a brother-in-law Larry Kozikowski, a sister-in-law Glenda Keast, and several nieces and nephews.
Her husband Gerald preceded her death on February 16, 2016; 5 sisters Elaine Amacher, Lorraine Colflesh, Fern Bellmore, Eleanor Schumann, Linda Kozikowski; and a brother Willard Blair.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 5, 2023, at the St. Ignatius Catholic Church at 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM Funeral Mass with Father Charles Donajkowski officiating. Burial will be following at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Hentkowski Funeral Home.
In leau of flowers, donations are suggested to St. Ignatius Catholic School.
