Margaret Krajniak

Margaret Krajniak, 99, a lifelong resident of Posen, passed away, Friday Morning August 5, 2016, at Tendercare Health Center in Rogers City, surrounded by her family.
The daughter of Anthony and Mary (Peplinski) Freske was born on June 6, 1917. She married Henry Krajniak on June 14 1941. Margaret enjoyed gardening, playing bingo, making chicken noodle and czarnina soup for her family. She was also a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church and its Rosary Sodality.
Surviving are 8 children Ray (Margaret) of Swartz Creek, Ann (Thomas) Hein of Hawks, Henry Jr. of Flint, Chester (Kathleen) of Alpena, Sylvester (Beverly) of Posen, Edwin (Laurie) of Posen, Louanne (Robert) Kleman of Posen, Alex (Denise) of Alpena; a brother Eugene Freske of Posen; 25 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Henry on October 16, 1958, a daughter-in-law Sandra Krajniak, grandson Eric Krajniak, great granddaughter Katie Krajniak, great grandsons Wyatt Saile, and Benjamin Kroll; 5 brothers Casimir, Phillip, Benedict, Edward, and Alex Freske.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with a 6:45 pm Rosary, and a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm, Sunday August 7, 2016 at Hentkowski Funeral Home in Rogers City. Visitation will continue from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am Funeral Mass, with Father Arthur Duchnowicz officiating, Monday at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Posen.
